To ensure that we can provide you with an unparalleled and satisfactory service, we have set out a Terms and Conditions agreement listing responsibilities to be met by Llewellyn Design and our clients.
Our Responsibilities
We design documents and websites so that they meet your needs and expectations.
We will listen to you and ask questions to understand the message you're trying to convey. We understand that an effective design must contribute to the purpose of your document or web site
We provide estimates on a per-project basis and as requested. We will honour price quotes (provided the work requirements are as specified). We will complete your work in the time promised.
We accept your text/images on CD ROM / Floppy / Zip
We are responsive to your phone calls, faxes, e-mail and other communications. We carefully proof-read all materials before presenting a proof to you to check and return with corrections clearly marked.
We correct and revise all documents once (unless otherwise specified) without an additional charge. Additional corrections and alterations will be charged at our normal hourly rate.
We prepare accurate invoices conforming to any initial agreement or our standard hourly rates and we'll submit these invoices promptly.
We will follow up our clients to obtain results and satisfaction with our service.
We will keep any potential project, or project in production, totally confidential, unless otherwise agreed.
We may ask to use, for publicity purposes only, a project that may be of interest.
Your Responsibilities
You must communicate with us, freely, and honestly at all stages so that we can meet your needs and expectations. You will need to allocate one person in your organisation as liaison or project manager for the duration of the project
After the initial agreement you should understand that additional instructions may result in increased costs or time needed to complete the project.
You will need to do your part to keep projects on schedule by being responsive to our questions. The completion date will be delayed if significant changes and alterations take place after a project has begun.
You must take responsibility for proof reading your materials. Once you have done so and give final approval, any changes or corrections will incur an additional cost. The costs will relate to the amount of work involved.
You will be responsible for any Copyright/Royalty/Licencing of text and or photographs supplied to us by you for print or website
With Web Hosting there will be an ongoing annual cost, which will be explained to you. You will be responsible for these fees.
You agree to pay our invoices fully and promptly. Unless specified otherwise, terms for accounts are 14 working days from date of invoice. Failure to pay on time will result in a status loss and could jeopardise future projects.
If your company is new to Llewellyn Design, we will expect your payment of half of the estimated cost with order and the final half upon completion. All websites are built on our test server, this allows you to monitor the sites progress via a URL link to our testserver. Once the site has been completed, proof read and signed off, the full agreed final payment will be required before the web site is published.
